What is this?
For too long the hard-working men and women of shipping, marine insurance and law have laboured without a monthly social drinks to call their own. Vespka AS has, with the support of several friends from the worlds of shipping, insurance and law, Niklas Sonnenschein, Herman Steen, Catherine Scadden, Preben Helverschou, Julie Mangiante, Thea Thorstensen, Mats Fielding , Roger Østern, Ivan Serrachin and Max Cook decided to bring this injustice to an end. You are, therefore, invited to escape your desk and unwind from work on the last Thursday of every month. Feel free to bring your colleagues along and let's have some fun.
Thursday Pre-Christmas edition!
As the winter nights draw in and the temperatures settle back below zero... why not embrace the Christmas Party season with your friends and colleagues at this month's Oslo Shipping Drinks event, at 17:00 hrs on Thursday 27 November?
As usual, we will be meeting at 17:00 hrs at Oche Aker Brygge, just next door to Beer Palace.
Anyone in shipping, offshore, marine insurance, law, broking etc is welcome.
Who pays for the drinks? We are glad that you asked! We will need to buy our own beers, however, the bright minds at Vespka have sought to soften the blow by arranging a preferentially discounted rates on both drinks and food. Furthermore, rumor has it that Vespka will sponsor some pizza on the night.... but you will have to attend to find out.
Do I need to sign up?
