Oslo Shipping Drinks
What is this?
For too long the hard-working men and women of shipping, marine insurance and law have laboured without a monthly social drinks to call their own. Vespka AS has, with the support of several friends from the worlds of shipping, insurance and law, Niklas Sonnenschein, Herman Steen, Catherine Scadden, Preben Helverschou, Julie Mangiante, Thea Thorstensen, Mats Fielding , Roger Østern, Ivan Serrachin and Max Cook decided to bring this injustice to an end. You are, therefore, invited to escape your desk and unwind from work on the last Thursday of every month. Feel free to bring your colleagues along and let's have some fun.
Thursday 30 October edition!
Time to unwind from the autumnal weather and catch up with friends and colleagues at this month's Oslo Shipping Drinks event, at 17:00 hrs on Thursday 30 October!
This month our friends, at Wikiborg Rein, have generously agreed (in conjunction with the Propeller Club of Norway) to welcome the Oslo Shipping Drinks crowd along for some drinks this month in their office at Dronning Mauds Gate 11, some 6 minutes walk from our usual haunt.
WR's doors will open at 17:00 hrs and there will be speeches, on the topic of Geopolitics, from 17:25 hrs to 18:30 hrs (see the flyer below).
At 18:30 hrs Wikiborg Rein's generous provision of drinks will commence! Thank you again Wikiborg Rein and in particular Oslo Shipping Drinks titan Herman Steen!
You are welcome to attend both the speeches and the drinks but please avoid arriving when the speeches are underway (i.e. between 17:25 hrs to 18:30 hrs).
For those who would like to continue the festivities after Wikiborg Rein we will reconvene at our usual watering hole Oche Aker Brygge from 21:00 hrs onwards.
